Celebrate the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, Puhua Early Years Invites Children and Parents to Play and Learn Together

Banyumas—In commemoration of the 81st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, Puhua Early Years invites all students and parents to celebrate the spirit of August 17 through activities filled with joy, family togetherness, and love for the homeland. This celebration is not only a festive moment but is also designed as a meaningful learning experience for children from an early age.

Carrying the theme "Building Happy Memories: Play, Unity, and Love for Indonesia — 同心同行 欢聚此刻:在游戏中团结,在热爱中成长", this year's activities are organized according to the age, needs, and developmental stages of children. Each level gains different experiences, but shares the same spirit: learning through play, building character, creating beautiful memories, and getting to know Indonesia in a way that is close to the world of children.

Early childhood education in Puhua is not just about introducing knowledge. The early stages of growth are a crucial time to build a foundation of character: courage, independence, a sense of responsibility, the ability to cooperate, discipline, empathy, and respect for others. Therefore, every activity is designed so that children can experience the learning process themselves through enjoyable activities that are appropriate for their developmental stage.

For students in R1 and R2, the celebration began with a morning assembly with their parents. The children not only attended as participants but also had the opportunity to take on roles as young ceremony officials. Celine from R2A served as the ceremony protocol, Efraim from R2R as the ceremony leader, Kenzo from R2S read the text of Pancasila and the Proclamation text, and Naraya from R2M served as the conductor. This opportunity to perform became a valuable experience to build self-confidence, courage to speak in public, responsibility, and the ability to carry out tasks well. The children learned that every role, no matter how small, has significance for the success of a collective activity.

After the assembly and photo session, the activities continued with the games Mission Garuda Plate, Garuda Glass Relay, Spirit of Independence Spoon, and Cheerful Archipelago Garland. Through these games, children learn to follow instructions, practice motor coordination, overcome challenges, patiently wait for their turn, and cooperate with friends. Parents also participated in the Archipelago Struggle Contest, creating a warm atmosphere while strengthening the bonds between children, families, and schools.

Meanwhile, the PG and Nursery students began the activities with a gathering in the hall. The children learned to show respect for the Red and White flag and sang the national anthem with enthusiasm. Next, they participated in the Flag Relay, Ball Toss, Independence Ball, and Fishing for Balls with their parents.

Through the guidance of professional teachers and close collaboration with parents, Puhua Early Years is committed to providing a safe, warm, and experience-rich learning environment.
