Celebration of the 81st Independence Day of Indonesia at Puhua Secondary School: Students, Parents, and Teachers Unite in Action

Banyumas—In commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, Puhua Secondary School invites students, teachers, and parents to celebrate the spirit of August 17th. Carrying the theme "United in Action, Resilient in Creation — 同心同行,创意无限", this celebration serves as a space for the entire Puhua family to meet, collaborate, and create meaningful experiences together.
The series of activities began with a Flag Ceremony attended by students, teachers, and the community of Puhua Primary and Secondary School.
After the ceremony, various competitions such as Crackers Race, Filling Water in Bottles, Tug of War, Removing Socks, and the Pangolin Relay presented different challenges. Some required speed, balance, agility, strategy, and coordination. However, all the games imparted the same lesson: success is more meaningful when achieved through cooperation, communication, trust, and a spirit of mutual support.
The presence of parents adds a special touch to this celebration. The mothers showcase creativity and concern for family health through the Healthy Bento Competition. The meals prepared and decorated using healthy, nutritious, and clean ingredients serve as a reminder that simple attention from home can support children's growth and the development of good habits.

Meanwhile, the fathers brought energy and a spirit of togetherness through the Futsal Competition. Cheers of support, teamwork, and a sporting atmosphere showed that parental involvement in school life is not only enjoyable for the children but also sends a strong message: families are present, supportive, and growing together with them.
For Puhua, the collaboration between schools and parents is an important foundation in education. Children develop more optimally when they see the same values present at home and school, such as a love of learning, discipline, self-confidence, care, and the courage to try. Activities like this provide an opportunity for parents to get to know their child's learning environment more closely, witness their growth process, and build positive memories with the school community.
The teachers of Puhua Secondary School also participated in the festivities through the Sack Race Relay competition. The presence of teachers among the students and parents created a warmer, more equal, and joyful atmosphere.
