Puhua School Successfully Holds Puhua Fest 2025

Twilight Sparks: Set Dreams Alight

Puhua School Successfully Holds Puhua Fest 2025 "Twilight Sparks: Set Dreams Alight"

Puhua Fest 2025 with the theme "Twilight Sparks: Set Dreams Alight" strongly illustrates how Puhua Secondary School positions this festival as a real learning space, not just entertainment. Through the full participation of students in grades 7–12, this event becomes a platform for self-actualization, cross-grade collaboration, and the development of self-confidence.

Puhua Fest : Make Over Sustainable Fashion Show

The inter-class Fashion Show became the main highlight, as students took on dual roles as designers and models with recycled costumes themed around Chinese-Banyumasan culture. Using simple materials like newspapers, plastic, and bottles, they produced over 20 dresses, crowns, and accessories that were curated in the categories of Best Mindful Art Piece, Best Class Collaboration, and Best Costume Design. Here, creativity merges with environmental education, instilling the message that used items can be transformed into high-value aesthetic works.

The Puhua Fest Stage Becomes a Talent Showcase

The Puhua Fest stage also serves as a showcase for talent: Chinese Traditional Dance, Indonesian Traditional Dance, K-Pop Dance, and Band Performances complement each other. The involvement of teachers like Tegar Laoshi and Mr. Jebb on stage adds warmth, demonstrating a close and supportive teacher-student relationship. In another area, visitors enjoy the Art Gallery, Metal Embossing Workshop, Food Bazaar, the Puhua Basketball Championship matches, as well as the opening series of the SMP-SMA Open House that connects the festival with the school's academic image.

In her message, the Head of SMP-SMA Puhua, Ms. Arinta Dewi, S.Si., M.M., emphasized that Puhua Fest is a "laboratory" for learning to train competitiveness, communication, organizational experience, and a sense of pride in contributing. This statement aligns with the design of activities that encourage students to manage events, work in teams, and present creative products that can be appreciated by the public. The closing performance by guest star X The Juno became the climax that celebrated the efforts of all parties while also strengthening the emotional bond of students to the school.
