SPK Dissemination Puhua School Establishes Collaboration with SMA Negeri 3 Purwokerto

Banyumas—The spirit of dissemination is realized by Puhua School through the Dissemination of Educational Cooperation Units (SPK) activities in collaboration with SMA Negeri 3 Purwokerto. On August 18, 2026, Puhua began its collaboration through the English Club activity titled “Building Global Educational Collaboration for Strengthening Quality and 21st Century Competencies.”

This activity serves as a shared learning space for students to experience active, communicative, and contextual English language learning, not just understanding the language as a subject, but using it as a means to interact, exchange ideas, and broaden their horizons.

Present at the event was the Head of Puhua Secondary School, Ms. Arinta Dewi, S.Si., M.M., along with two English teachers from Puhua: Ms. Jane Marie Cabahug Pasaol, B.Ed., a native English teacher from the Philippines, and Mr. Hendra, S.Pd. The presence of the Puhua team provided students with a learning experience that combines global perspectives, understanding of local contexts, and a learning approach that encourages the courage to communicate.

Through interactive discussions and sharing sessions, Ms. Jane and Mr. Hendra invited the students of SMA Negeri 3 Purwokerto to get to know each other, share stories, ask questions, and use English directly. The learning environment was created to make students feel safe to try. They not only received the material but also experienced firsthand that language skills grow when someone is willing to speak, ready to make mistakes, open to feedback, and practices consistently.

For Puhua, collaborative learning like this has a broader meaning. As a trilingual school, Puhua believes that language is a bridge to understanding culture, appreciating differences, building self-confidence, and connecting with a wider world. The presence of native-speaking teachers provides authentic opportunities for students to practice their listening, responding, and communication skills in real situations. However, more importantly, it fosters courage, curiosity, openness, and the ability to appreciate different perspectives.

This activity is also in line with the direction of strengthening the role of SPK, which is expected to share globally standardized learning practices with national schools and enrich the quality of education through strong character, international networking, and national values.

Thank you to SMA Negeri 3 Purwokerto for the opportunity to share, learn, and build experiences together. Puhua believes that collaboration between schools is not about who is superior, but about how education can continue to move forward when schools, teachers, and students support each other.

From one classroom to another, let’s keep learning, sharing, and growing together.

Puhua dan SMA N 3 Purwokerto, Jiayou!
