Teachers and Staff of Puhua School Participate in Creative Gymnastics and Mini Soccer Competitions at the HAORNAS 2026 Event

Banyumas—Strong education does not only grow from what is taught in the classroom, but also from the examples that students see in their daily lives. When teachers and staff dare to try, collaborate, maintain fitness, and face competition sportsmanlike, they are showing students that learning and growing is a lifelong process.
In commemoration of National Sports Day 2026, teachers from Puhua Secondary School and Puhua staff participated in a Creative Gymnastics and Mini Soccer competition organized by the MGMP PJOK SMA of Banyumas Regency in collaboration with the Youth, Sports, Culture, and Tourism Office of Banyumas Regency. The event took place at SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto on September 9, 2026, with the theme, “Through HAORNAS, We Realize a Healthy, Fit, Sporty, and Accomplished Banyumas Community.”
A total of 15 schools participated in the Creative Gymnastics competition, while 21 schools took part in Mini Soccer. Puhua sent two teams consisting of teachers from Puhua Secondary School and Puhua staff, accompanied by Ms. Arinta Dawi, S.Si., M.M., the Principal of Puhua Secondary School. Amidst the busy responsibilities at school, both teams made the most of their limited preparation time with enthusiasm and a willingness to give their best.

The Creative Gymnastics Team only has three days to practice together. In that short time, they arrange movements, build formations, align rhythms, and blend various musical elements: from the song Tabola Bale, a medley of regional songs, to Mandarin songs. This combination reflects the spirit of Puhua, which is open to diversity, appreciates culture, and is capable of building harmony through collaboration.
Meanwhile, the Mini Soccer team is preparing to compete with the same spirit. On the field, each member strives to give their best performance, build teamwork, support one another, and maintain sportsmanship. For them, the match is not just about scoring goals or winning the game, but also about building trust, managing emotions, respecting opponents, and enjoying the struggle together.

When teachers and staff demonstrate discipline in practice, perseverance in preparing themselves, and humility in accepting results, students see that the courage to try knows no age or position.
More than just about winning or losing, Puhua's participation in Haornas activities serves as a space to build friendships with other schools, expand positive networks, and reinforce the spirit of healthy living in the educational environment. Puhua believes that a good school is a community that keeps moving, keeps learning, and keeps growing together.
Happy National Sports Day 2026!
Let's move, be healthy, be sporty, and support each other.
Puhua Jiayou!
