On October 6th, the Puhua family will come together to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, or Moon Cake Day, a moment filled not only with laughter, glowing lanterns, and delicious moon cakes, but also with stories, meaning, and inspiring togetherness.
For us, celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival is not just about following tradition, but creating a space for students to learn about, embrace, and celebrate the richness of world cultures. The meaning of the full moon, which is the centerpiece of the festival, symbolizes reunion and hope, and serves as a reminder that every child at Puhua is part of a large family rooted in love, tolerance, and the aspiration to grow together.
The legend of Chang’e, rich in courage, sacrifice, and hope, serves as a strong inspiration in every step of building the character of the Puhua generation, reminding us that from every cultural story, there are noble values that guide our journey. In this spirit, the lanterns are lit, hopes are sent, and the meaning of togetherness is etched in the hearts of every student.
